Shouqi Group, part of Beijing Tourism Group offered 601 cars and 600 drivers for the forum. Hundreds of Hou’s colleagues offered service at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center on the second day of the forum.
The working lunch for 37 leaders was the key work of service on May 15. Hou said that half of all the 37 menus, while combining Chinese and Western cuisines, were different from each other after considering leaders’ eating preferences. Cooks began work on the menus half a year ago.
At the China National Convention Center, staff helped the transition from the opening ceremony to the high-level plenary meeting in only 167 seconds, meeting the forum’s requirement of tight schedule.
