In the after of December 2nd, Mr. Zhang Boxu, Party Secretary of Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology (BMCEI), paid an inspection visit to Kaifu Office Area, to learn about how guiding principles of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee (referred to as the Session hereinafter) are being implemented at public institutions under the BMCEI.
When visiting each office area, Mr. Zhang Boxu exchanged ideas with CPC members to learn about how they are going about their work and life.
Party Secretaries of eight CPC branches of public institutions under the BMCEI, including Industrial Technology Development Center, Industrial Economy Research Center, Arts and Crafts Industry Promotion Center, and Technology Market Development Center, went to details about how they are implementing the guiding principles of the Session, improving work style, promoting clean government and doing their routine work in the context of their own realities.
Mr. Zhang Boxu concluded his visit by remarking that, from his first-hand experience, all CPC BMCEI branches are making headway in implementing the accountability mechanism for enhancing Party’s work style and promoting clean government while also ensuring smooth progress of their assigned tasks, with various types of educational campaigns having been conducted, but it must also be noted that there are still problems, such as inadequate implementation of “dual responsibilities for one post, equal accountability for party and government officials” and insufficient exemplary role by Party members. He urged that, going forward, all CPC BMCEI branches must uphold Party principles with heightened awareness by the following means: First, continue to learn and grasp the core ideas of the Session. Second, address in all seriousness salient problems among Party members to comprehensively strengthen Party discipline. Third, all CPC BMCEI branches must play a leading role in education on a regular basis to honor their commitment as Party members. Fourth, heighten awareness to act on improving Party work style and promoting clean government, with a view to shoulder dual responsibilities. All CPC BMCEI branches must spearhead in leading Party members on efforts centered on priorities concerning the city’s economy and information technology work and central tasks of BMCEI, while also ensuring Party building as the foundation to take actions in implementing guiding principles set at the Session so as to contribute to the city’s economic growth and IT application.
